JOB EXAMPLE #3

SYCAMORE RANCH

Wetlands, Section 404, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers? These issues are all water under the bridge for Hydro-Arch. Recently when home builder William Lyon Homes was faced with these issues on they're Sycamore Ranch project in Fallbrook, CA. They turned to Hydro-Arch for a solution. William Lyon Homes needed to clear span a 48' blue line stream and cost was a major issue. Hydro-Arch worked with civil engineer Eric Armstrong PE. of Fuscoe Engineering, and Biologist Dr. Thomas Leslie to save money and handle the sensitive wetlands issues. The Hydro-Arch team designed a 48' traveling form that worked off a pyle foundation. Never touching the sensitive stream bed.

Like in most cases time was an important factor. The overall length of the structure from inlet to outlet was approximately 55'. Hydro-Arch responded by suppling 32' of form. This limited the number of setups to two. And with a 4-day rotation cycle for forming, reinforcing steel and concrete, the arch was poured in place in 10 working days!

This project is just one example of how everyday Hydro-Arch strives to be the very best at what we do.
